“Vulnerability at 3 AM” is a state of being. It is the moment when defenses fall, the noise recedes, and what remains is raw, unfiltered emotion. These works were not conceived under the spotlight of studio rigor but in the dim glow of late-night reckoning: born from memory, fear, longing, and truth.
At 3 A.M., there’s no audience. No persona. Just me, the canvas, and everything I haven’t said out loud.
Through painting, sculpture, and prints by four contemporary artists, Angelica Lorenzi, Lucinda Lansill, Sun Miao, the exhibition reveals a spectrum of emotional states: fragility, doubt, defiance, tenderness. Each work reflects a process of surrender, suggesting that creation is not an act of control, but of courage.
